Q: When and why did you first become interested in gymnastics?
A: I started when I was four years old because my older sister was on team.
Q: Do you have any good/funny memories from when you first started taking gymnastics classes?
A: My mom tried to put me in class when I was younger, but I cried and refused to do it.
Q: What is your training regimen? Was that a big change when you made the switch to competitive gymnastics?
A: I train about 30 hours a week.

A: Laurie Hernandez
Q: How has gymnastics helped you as a person?
A: I make so many great friends and get to travel to new places all the time.
Q: If you had to select one life-lesson that gymnastics has taught you, what would it be?
A: You can do anything you put your mind to.
Q: What are your biggest accomplishments or best memories in your career?
A: Sweeping all four events and the all-around title at Level 8 Regionals last year. And qualifying to the Nastia Cup!

A: Yes

A: I love spending time at the lake with my family in the summer. I also like shopping and spending time with friends.

A: Everyone! My dad did college soccer and baseball, my mom was a diver, my sister does gymnastics, my older brothers both play soccer and basketball, and my little brother is a wrestler.
