Q: When and why did you first become interested in gymnastics?
A: When I was 3, I climbed counters and would do handstands all the time. My mom put me in beginner gymnastics, and the rest is history
Q: Do you have any good/funny memories from when you first started taking gymnastics classes?
A: One time when I fell off the beam my hair got stuck to the velcro mat, and I could not get up.
Q: When did you decide you wanted to compete? And, when did you want to compete at a high level? What about competition appeals to you?
A: At age six, because I wanted to get a trophy. I love the feeling of hitting every event and knowing that you did your very best
Q: What is your training regimen? Was that a big change when you made the switch to competitive gymnastics?
A: I train 33 hours a week.
Q: Who is your favorite gymnast or who is your “idol”?
A: Amelia Hundley is my favorite gymnast.
Q: What are your biggest accomplishments or best memories in your career?
A: Qualifying for the Nastia Cup, winning bars at the 2015 Hope Championships, and qualifying to the 2016 JO Nationals
Q: What grade are you in school, and where do you go to school?
A: I’m a 7th grader at Ohio Connections Academy.
Q: Do you want to compete in collegiate gymnastics?
A: Yes
Q: If you plan to go to college, do you know what you want to study there?
A: I plan to study architectural design.
Q: What are your goals for the future?
A: I would like to qualify to P&G Championships as well as make the National Team.

A: Steak

A: I have two brothers, and both are wrestlers
Q: What’s on your IPod right now? What type of music do enjoy listening to? How about before a meet when you’re trying to get focused and pumped up?
A: I listen to a variety of music, but I prefer to be quiet and give myself pep talks during competition.
