A: My mom started me in mom-and-tot classes when I was little.

A: I work out about 24 hours a week.

A: Getting my skill named after me on beam, committing to Auburn University, and placing second all-around at nationals last year.

A: My mom did gymnastics, my dad plays softball, my middle brother (Caleb) does football and track, and my youngest brother (Cristian) plays tennis.

A: I have my specific scrunchie that I usually wear.

I was in a mom and tot class and kept doing it because I liked it.

When I became good enough to compete. I’ve always wanted to get better, so I constantly strive to get to the next higher level. I enjoy the feeling of when my hard work pays off.

I train 24 hours/week. It’s increased a little bit every year, so it’s never been that big of a change.

My mom was a gymnast so she started me in classes at a young age.
About what age would you say?
2 or 3 years-old.
4. When did you decide you wanted to compete? And, when did you want to compete on the elite level? What about competition appeals to you?
I probably decided consciously to compete around the age of 6 or 7. Competition is really fun to me, and I enjoy the team atmosphere.
5. What is your training regimen?
We condition for half-an-hour before doing all four events for an hour each, about four-and-a-half hours a day.

It was a little bit longer and more days out of the week

I do a skill that could get named after me. It’s like a front aerial with my knee on the beam.

It’s called “Fire On High.” It’s very upbeat.

Simone Biles. She always seems like she’s having fun.
11. How have you grown as a gymnast during your career, both skill wise and mentally?
I’ve gotten stronger overall and more mentally tough.

It’s helped me develop my time management skills.

To always stay positive.
14. What are your biggest accomplishments or best memories in your career?
Making the Nastia Liukin Cup is my biggest accomplishment so far.

To go to college and compete in gymnastics and then get a job afterwards.

I enjoy spending time with my friends.
