King, Nehmer added to Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier list
Avery King (Dallas, Texas) and Julia Nehmer (McKinney, Texas), both of Metroplex Gymnastics, qualified to the 2024 Nastia Liukin Cup this past weekend at Kim Zmeskal’s Texas Prime Meet in Irving, Texas. So far, 16 athletes have punched their ticket to the competition in late February with 28 more left to go.
King qualified as a senior and will make her Nastia Liukin Cup debut, while Nehmer claimed the junior spot for the second consecutive year. The Nastia Liukin Cup Series continues this coming weekend with three invitationals – the Atlanta Centennial Classic in Atlanta, Ga., the UGA Invitational in Tinley Park, Ill. and the Vegas Cup in Las Vegas, Nev.
